How are performance returns calculated?

OnMarket performance returns are calculated using a simple average return of all the OnMarket offers which qualify for each time horizon portfolio.

An offer that has not been listed for the number of days in the time horizon is not included in the calculation of the average return.  OnMarket uses an equal-value portfolio of all eligible offers to calculate its returns.

Each offer along with any options attached is ‘purchased’ once the OnMarket bidding platform has been closed to replicate when OnMarket investors have experienced a cash outflow. Time horizons are determined from the ASX listing date of each offer.

OnMarket updates the website with these returns at the end of each month.
