How are performance returns calculated?

OnMarket performance returns are calculated using a simple average return of all the OnMarket offers which have listed at the time of calculation.

Once an offer has been listed for the number of days in the time horizon its position is closed. OnMarket uses an equal-value portfolio of all eligible offers to calculate its returns.

Each offer along with any options attached is ‘purchased’ once the OnMarket bidding platform has been closed to replicate when OnMarket investors have experienced a cash outflow. Time horizons are determined from the ASX listing date of each offer.

A comprehensive breakdown of our returns, including a median, simple average and simple money-weighted annualised returns, is included here.

OnMarket updates the website with these returns at the beginning of each month.
