What security measures does OnMarket use?
Your security is our first priority. We have put in place world class security and fraud prevention technology to ensure that all information you share and everything that you do with OnMarket is secure.
- Bank level security – We use the same security technology as the big banks. A variety of methods are used to secure our data and servers, from the hardware and servers to the application in your browser.
- Data encryption – All communication is encrypted using 256bit SSL encryption as soon as you land on our site. The ‘closed lock’ icon in your browser lets you know that your information is being encrypted.
- Firewalls – Our systems are protected by a secure firewall that we continuously monitor. We regularly test and update it to ensure our systems – and your information – stay secure.
- Physical security – Our servers and data are located in Sydney, Australia. They are manned 24/7/365 with onsite security and surveillance.
We also hold an Australian Financial Securities License (AFS License no 421 535 ), which means we are supervised and regulated by ASIC. By holding this license, we must have robust procedures, both in terms of client processes and security.
